In the Mist of Fire is a deeply personal book that brings together poetry and visual art in a single, immersive experience.

Each page pairs a hand-drawn illustration with a corresponding poem, creating a dialogue between image and language. The work unfolds as a journey through emotion, memory, and transformation, where color, form, and words intertwine to express what cannot always be said directly.

Originally created by hand and later developed digitally, the illustrations carry a strong abstract sensibility, echoing the rhythm and intensity of the text. The result is a vibrant and intimate body of work that invites the viewer to pause, feel, and interpret freely.

Both visual and literary, In the Mist of Fire reflects my approach to creation—where intuition, structure, and expression meet.
